It’s true what they say… “You are only confined by the walls you surround yourself.”
If you tell yourself that you can’t do something, you most likely will never do it.
We all carry personal battles. More often than not, ‘self-doubt’ appears at the top of the list, with ‘fear of the unknown’ coming in at a close second. Establishing a positive mindset isn’t an easy task. It doesn’t happen overnight. However, it’s most definitely achievable.
Practicing mindfulness and surrounding yourself with wholesome people certainly helps this transition.
I have always had the belief that I can do anything. Sure, along the way I’ve had certain individuals tell me otherwise, but I’ve never let them get the better of me. You and I are more than capable. Never let anybody make you believe that you are not good enough, smart enough or old enough to do something. EVER.
Episode 6 of The Promenade With Me Podcast is dedicated to this rationale. It’s called ‘The Power Of Your Potential’, and for good reason. As the title suggests, once you adopt this idea, you’ll start to recognise that you do in fact have the power and drive to achieve all that you set your mind to. [Insert fist pump here].
